Tumwater Hat

This is a place to discuss hats and related topics. We aim to provide professional hatters, serious hobbyists and hat aficionados a place to swap advice and leads on equipment, materials and finished hats. We view other custom hatters as colleagues rather than competition. We reason that the more "proper" hats there are out there, the greater the demand for such hats will be (people often don't know what they want until they see it), and we figure we'll get our share of that business. This, for now, is all this site is about. More thoroughgoing "vintage lifestyle" discussions can be found elsewhere on the 'net, most notably at the Fedora Lounge. If you haven't done so already, you may wish to check 'em out. We ask that you keep the tone civil and respectful. This isn't the place to discuss politics and/or religion. If you're tempted to insert your views on such matters into the conversation, well, we would much prefer you resist that temptation, as it will save us the trouble of deleting your post.
